Holiday Decor Swap 'Til You Drop

An exchange event for household holiday décor you no longer want or need. Three drop-off dates. One shopping day. All holidays welcome.

Seasons change; holidays come and go. Our likes and preferences in household décor adjust over time. The item that fit perfectly on the wall may not be a favorite any longer, but it has plenty of life left!

Rather than discard unwanted holiday décor in good, usable condition, why not give it another chance to liven up someone else’s space? Holiday decorations can be a large source of waste, but many of them are reusable year after year. If you enjoy updating your décor, or you’re getting started in a new home, our Holiday Swap ‘til You Drop event is for you!

Holiday Swap 'Til You Drop Event

As we head into end-of-year celebrations and festivities, the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District will host a free waste reduction activity for all ages. Drop off your gently used holiday decorations to the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District ahead of time, or on the day of the event. Then, on a Special Saturday, “shop” for free decorations!

This is a free swap event – no currency will be accepted or exchanged. You do not need to bring decorations in order to “shop.”
